The Bagani bace camp trekking starts from Jumma, which is 45 kms from Joshimath. Joshimath is a small town in Uttarakhand, can be reached by road from Rishikash. During this Expedition you will visit last highest Dunagiri village in this valley. Discover cliff of the high Himalayan peaks. These people are migratory. They have two places of living. From April to October they stay at Dunagiri Village and after they go down banks of river in lower valley of the Alaknanda River near Chmoli.

Changabang Glacier makes you come face to face with untouched, raw natural beauty along with great doses of adventure. It towers at 4400m. From sea level and gives you the opportunity to feast your eyes on the mighty.

Changabang base camp is a huge amphitheatre. The peaks which are visible from here are Hathi (6507m), Ghori, Satminal (6911m), Dunagiri east (7066m),Garur 6000m, Trishuli (7057m), hardeul (7323m), Rishi (6099m), Kalanka(6931m), and Mt. Changabang(7174m) etc.

Day 01: Joshimath to Jumma (2578m) Ruing 50 kms. by Road 3 kms Trek
Morning after breakfast drive to Jumma with packed lunch 3 hrs to reach Jumma trek point, after 1st day trek to Dunagiri Village Ruing Village. Today 1st day easy trek to Ruing 1 hrs, Overnight food and stay in tent Near Ruing Village

Day 02: Ruing to Dunagiri Village (3615m) 10 kms. Trek  
Morning after breakfast the trek starts with packed lunch to Dronagiri Village in approximately 5 H. The way goes all uphill till Dunagiri village. Dronagiri village the highest village in this valley, Discover cliff of the high Himalayan peaks. Evening visit village and old houses and drink local tea in local house. These people are migratory. They have two places of living. From April to October they stay in Dronagiri Village and after they go down banks of river in lower valley of the Alaknanda River. Overnight food and stay in tent

Day 03: Dunagiri Village to Bagani Base camp (4130m) 10 kms Trek – 5 hrs
Morning after breakfast the trek starts with packed lunch to Chang bang base camp, approximately 5 to 6 hrs trek. The all way goes up through the glacier.  Bagani is Base camp of Chang bang and Kalanka peak, Overnight food and stay in tent.

Day 04: Chang bang bace camp to Toli (3800m) 10 kms Trek
Morning after breakfast the trek starts with packed lunch to Toli. Today easy trek all trek down to till toil. Nice camp site near river. Overnight food and stay in tent

Day 05: Toli to Raj Kharak (3800m) via Kanari Khal (4050m) 10 kms Trek – 5 to 6 hrs [today first - 50 meter down after + 250 meter up again - 250 meter. Down to Raj Kharak camp]

Morning after breakfast the trek starts with packed lunch to Raj Kharak, today bit hard trek, you will cross Kanari Khal 4150 meter From toil comp to till Kanari Khal 3 hrs way goes up till pass. After pass 2 hrs, continuous trek down to Raj Kharak nice camp site today, Overnight stay and food in Camp

Day 06: Raj Kharak to Jumma (2500m.) – Joshimath via Garpak Village – 5 - 6 hrs Trek and 3 hrs drive to Joshimath [today you will down -1300 met till Jumma road head]

Morning after breakfast the trek starts with packed lunch to Jumma 5 to 6 hrs, first 2 hrs trek down till Garpak Village this is also Summer Village 6 month they live this Village in Summer time around 20 Family live in this Village. After continuous 1 hrs trek you will reach Bagani Nala and you need to again crossing river after trek continuous to Ruing Village they way after bridge some times up and some time down, after Ruing Village all the way 1 hrs trek down to till Jumma where your car wait to you and time to say bay to Mule mans and drive to Joshimath, Check in hotel upon arrival and big bath after 9 day in Tent. Overnight stay and food in hotel

There are regular public and private bus services available from Haridwar / Rishikash to Joshimath Morning 4 am to 7 am Daley service. Fair Rs. 450/- per person [Minimum 10 hrs takes to reach Joshimath the road from Haridwar / Rishikash to Joshimath is good but long journey]

1. How fit should the Participants are in this trek???
It depend of the difficulty of the trek : for some of them you need  1-2 month before begin your trek 5 kms jog every day but you need good health,  The trek we planned together is not very difficult therefore you should not worry, you can do this trek easily, When you get some time you go for jogging/walking. If possible 1 month before your departure you can walk/jog but you don’t need to go every day only as much as possible and at least once/twice a week.

2. What is the best time to do this Trek???
1st week of May to till end of June and end of September to Mid of November only

3. How difficult is the trek???
This trek is moderate level, little bit tough for senior citizen. Become tough if Top of Kuari Pass

4. Temperature on the trip???
If you trek May to 1st week of July, day time is 20 to 35 C and Night around 10 c. If you trek Mid September to end of November day time is 10 to 20 c. but Cold at higher elevation 2500m to 3000m. Here, the temperature can drop to around - 8 degree Celsius, and the winds are pretty cold strong too Advice to carry good warm cloths etc.

5. How much do we walk per day???
Every day you walk for almost minimum 5 hrs and maximum 7 hours, minimum 10 kms maximum 15 kms a day

6. Is taking anti-altitude sickness medicines like Diamox advisable???
Till 3000 meter its not any problem. But better to take advised to consult your doctor beforehand. As some time weather is totally bad for all 3 days on the hike.

7. Any tour leader or guide with us during our trek???
Yes we have a experienced mountaineer local guide who belong from Joshimath and know the trek route very well, even if we have and problem our experience Guide and team can bring you back safely. Our all mountaineer Guides are experienced.

8. How big are the groups???
Usually our group size is minimum 4 People group Maximum 20 people in one group, while for school group we have limit from 50 in one group.

9. How safe is the trip for women???
We have always organized many women in our trip and we take care of them special. The safety of women is highly important to us, and our Guide and trek team are polite and helpful towards them.

10. What do we carry on the tour???
Just you see under we give you list of all necessary things, but before the start of the trip we will inform you again by mail required to carry with you.

11. Who carry my Luggage if I am not able to ???
We have Mule and porters for carry your luggage and all our camp equipment + food. You need to carry only your day bag

12. What kind of shoes should I carry???
Good quality hiking boots waterproof is must as you have to walk in snow and rain. So good trekking shoes is must for this trek.

13. How many travelers will sleep in one tent???
We have two mane tents Twin sharing bases tents are provide were two people can stay in fully comfort

14. What kind of food do we get during the tour???
Best local vegetarian food + Eggs on the Trek.

15. About Drininking water along the way trek and in camp ???
All source of water are clean to drink but you can ask your Trekking Guide and our support team about safe drinking water or you are advised to use Chlorine tablets to purify the water further.

16. What type of transportation and how many people are in one cab???
We use like Mahindra Max or Tata Sumo Cab - 5 persons in one cab if our group is 20 people we have mini bus [if you like privet Toyota Innova cab we can arrange also]

17. Should I bring my own medicines???
Absolutely - You should definitely carry whatever medicines you are using for the purpose of added safety.

18. Can the itinerary be changed???
Not because the itineraries are Fix planned, depending weather condition on the trek your but your guide and members of the group to see if they agree on small changes if is necessary to changed
